New SION Guidelines for Polyurethane Resin Solution: Adjustments for Solvent Ratios and Resin Content Percentages.
The Standard Input-Output Norms (SION) for the production of Polyurethane Resin Solution at 60% resin total solid content in a relevant solvent. It specifies the required quantities of raw materials for 1 kg of the resin solution, including adipic acid, isophthalic acid, diethylene glycol, monoethylene glycol, and toluene di-isocyanate. It also notes the use of ethyl acetate or methyl ethyl ketone as solvents. Adjustments for different resin content percentages are to be made on a pro-rata basis, while solvent requirements are determined by the inverse ratio of solvent content. Changes were made as per public notices dated 2009.
