<h1>Input-output norms for exporting gensets over 600 KVA: permitted imported inputs, specified proportions, and usage verification requirements</h1> Standard input-output norms under the Foreign Trade Policy for gensets above 600 KVA (suspended by Public Notice) list allowable inputs and proportions for export manufacturing: finished components on a net-to-net basis; unfinished forgings and castings net-to-net (by number); non-alloy steel at 1.47 kg per kg of export product; pig iron for castings at 1.25 kg/kg for castings >10-100 kg and 1.20 kg/kg for castings >100 kg; consumables at 4% of FOB value; and HS diesel as per the general fuel note. Applicants must ensure imported inputs are those actually used in the export product.
