of <h1>New Norms for Biaxially Oriented Polypropylene Tape: Import Requirements and 2% Wastage Allowance Explained</h1> The standard input-output norms for the manufacture of Biaxially Oriented Polypropylene Self Adhesive Tapes up to 3 inches in width, as per the Foreign Trade Policy. It specifies that for every square meter of tape, 1.05 square meters of Biaxially Oriented Polypropylene Gummed Film in jumbo rolls and 1.05 kg of Kraft Paper per kg content in the export product are required. For tapes above 3 inches and up to 8 inches, a 2% wastage allowance is provided for the import of the first item. It emphasizes that imported goods should be used in the export product.
