of <h1>New SION Norms: Stainless Steel Exports Require 1.20 MT Coils for Tubes, 1.25 MT for Hose Pipes</h1> The Standard Input-Output Norms (SION) under the Foreign Trade Policy for specific engineering products. It specifies the input requirements for exporting stainless steel products. For stainless steel welded and cold drawn tubes and pipes, and stainless steel welded corrugated hose pipes, the required input is stainless steel wide coils or strips of the relevant grade. The input-output ratio is set at 1.20 MT of coils/strips for tubes and pipes, and 1.25 MT for hose pipes per 1 MT of the export item.
