<h1>Suspension of permitted composition norms for magnesia/dolomite refractory products; exporters must match imported inputs to exports</h1> Standard input-output norms set permitted composition and quantities for magnesia/dolomite refractory products: for a 1000 kg final product, allowed major raw materials include dead burnt magnesite and/or seawater magnesia (600 kg) and magdolo co-clinker (450 kg); additives such as pitch coke/tar pitch (190 kg); miscellaneous items include moulds and mould liners up to 10% of CIF value and cutting tools. The entry for these norms has been suspended by a public notice dated 03-05-2024. For exports of ramming mass, castables and mortars, moulds and mould liners and cutting tools are not permitted. Importers must ensure imported inputs match those used in the exported product.
