New SION Guidelines for Tin Alloy Exports: Input Requirements for Rods, Wires, Strips, Sheets, and More
The Standard Input-Output Norms (SION) for tin alloy products under the Foreign Trade Policy. It specifies the input requirements for producing tin alloy in various forms, such as rods, wires, strips, sheets, foils, preforms, sections, and tubes. For each kilogram of the export product, the required inputs include tin, lead, antimony, copper, bismuth, zinc, and cadmium, either in ingot or scrap form. The prescribed input quantities range from 1.03 kg to 1.07 kg per kilogram of the content in the export product, depending on whether ingots or scrap are used.
