of <h1>New SION Guidelines: 1.65 MT Steel for 1 MT Forged Flanges; 5% FOB for Rust Prevention Materials</h1> The Standard Input-Output Norms (SION) for the production of forged flanges made from carbon steel, alloy steel, or stainless steel as per the Foreign Trade Policy. For every 1 metric ton (MT) of forged flanges produced, 1.65 MT of relevant forging quality steel materials is required. Additionally, up to 5% of the Free on Board (FOB) value can be allocated for rust-preventing oil, primer, paint, die steel, cutting tools, and other specified materials. Furnace oil is permitted solely for hot forging processes.
