of <h1>Public Notice No. 03/2024-25 suspends standard input-output norms for nut-and-shaft automobile assembly; specifies input ratios and steel ball rules</h1> Standard input-output norms under the Foreign Trade Policy for a nut-and-shaft assembly for automobiles were listed and then suspended by Public Notice No. 03/2024-25 (03-05-2024). Specified input ratios per kg of export product include SAE 8602 bar/round at 1.20 kg and CRCA sheet at 1.05 kg; steel ball is treated on a net-to-net basis. The norms govern determination of proportions of various inputs usable in manufacture, and applicants must ensure imported goods correspond to those actually used or required in the export product.
