<h1>Suspension of SION J324: exporters must meet 1.05 kg viscose and 1.05 kg silk input norms per kg export</h1> Standard Input-Output norms under the Foreign Trade Policy for viscose/silk blended spun dyed yarn (export product) specify input norms of viscose staple fibre (dyed) and silk top each at 1.05 kg per 1 kg of export product. The schedule falls under textiles/readymade garments/hosiery & knitwear and is identified as SION J324. The SION has been suspended by Public Notice No. 03/2024-25 dated 03-05-2024. Applicants must ensure imported inputs match those permitted and actually used in manufacture; authorities determine allowable proportions of inputs for resultant products and compliance with the prescribed input-output ratios is required.
