of <h1>Suspension of input output norms for fresh produce packaging with proportional allowances and strict import use requirements enforced</h1> Input-output norms for fresh fruits and vegetables packaging under the foreign trade policy have been suspended. The schedule set proportional allowances for packaging inputs: corrugated and EPS molded boxes at net plus 1% wastage; BOPP self-adhesive tapes, relevant wrapping papers (±10% GSM), and plastic box strapping rolls at 1.05 kg per kg of the respective material; and HDPE/LDPE/PP bags at 1.01 kg per kg. Determination of proportions governs which inputs may be used in manufacture of export products, and applicants must ensure imported items are those actually required and used in the export product.
