Acid 90% UP (3-Amino-6-Chloro toluene-4-sulphonic acid) are listed under Chemical & Allied Products and have been suspended by Public Notice No. 03/2024-25 dated 03-05-2024. The norm specifies that producing 1 kg of the acid requires 0.900 kg toluene, 0.750 kg nitric acid and 0.900 kg iron powder. The schedule governs determination of allowable input proportions for manufacture of resultant products, and requires applicants to ensure imported goods correspond to those used or required in the export product.
