        <h1>Item 3819: Hydraulic brake fluids under 70% petroleum now taxable at 18% GST from 22-09-2025 (Notif. 09/2025)</h1> Hydraulic brake fluids and other prepared liquids for hydraulic transmission that do not contain, or contain less than 70% by weight of, petroleum oils or oils from bituminous minerals are classified under item 3819 and subject to GST at 18% effective 22-09-2025, pursuant to Notification No. 09/2025 (IGST(Rate)) dated 17-09-2025 as reflected in Schedule II.
