<h1>Pharmaceutical and medical goods in Note 4 taxed at 5% GST from 22-09-2025 per Notification No. 9/2025</h1> Pharmaceutical and related medical goods listed in Note 4 to the Chapter are taxable at 5% GST effective 22-09-2025, including sterile surgical catgut and similar sterile suture materials (including sterile absorbable surgical or dental yarns), sterile tissue adhesives for wound closure, sterile laminaria and laminaria tents, sterile absorbable haemostatics, surgical/dental adhesion barriers (absorbable or not), waste pharmaceuticals (excluding contraceptives), and ostomy appliances and accessories such as pouches, flanges, stoma adhesive paste, barrier cream, irrigator kits, sleeves, belts and micro-pore tapes, per Notification No. 9/2025 dated 17-09-2025.
