        <h1>Export restrictions on sugar require specific permission; quotas, TRQ/CXL exceptions and pharma/organic export conditions apply.</h1> Export of sugar (raw, white, refined and organic) is restricted and requires specific permission from the Directorate of Sugar, Department of Food and Public Distribution, with procedural details to be notified by that Department; exceptions include exports under CXL and TRQ quota mechanisms subject to certificate of origin issuance by Additional DGFT Mumbai and reporting to APEDA, and Pharma Grade Sugar which may be exported under Restricted Authorization subject to licence and NABL test-report safeguards. Organic sugar certified by APEDA may be exempt from quantitative ceilings, subject to APEDA modalities and prescribed annual ceiling for specified HS codes.
