of <h1>Central Government Amends Export Policy for Stone Aggregate and River Sand to Maldives Under Foreign Trade Policy 2004-09</h1> The Central Government has amended Schedule 2 (Export Policy) of the ITC(HS) Classifications for Chapter 25 concerning exports to the Maldives under the Foreign Trade Policy 2004-09. For the financial year 2007-08, the export of Stone Aggregate is set at 405,000 MT, and River Sand at 450,000 MT. The Chemicals and Allied Products Export Promotion Council (CAPEXIL) must ensure suppliers have proper clearances and that sand mining does not occur in Coastal Regulation Zone areas. This amendment is issued in the public interest by the Director General of Foreign Trade.
