of <h1>India Amends Marble Import Policy from Bhutan, Increasing Quota to 5,882 Metric Tons Annually Under Notification No. 69.</h1> The Government of India has amended the import policy for marble from Bhutan, as per Notification No. 69 (RE-2010)/2009-14, dated September 1, 2011. The import of marble, classified under Chapters 25 and 68, will now be subject to a combined annual quota of 10 lakh square feet (5,882 metric tons), effective immediately and operating on a financial year basis. The Government of Bhutan will monitor and allocate this quota. This amendment increases the previous import quota from 1,847 metric tons to 5,882 metric tons.
