of <h1>Import policy for umbrellas revised from free to restricted, with CIFRs100 per piece exception and targeted MIP exemptions.</h1> Import policy for finished umbrellas under ITC (HS) codes 66019100 and 66019900 is amended from 'Free' to 'Restricted', with an exception that imports remain free where CIF value is Rs.100 or more per piece. Minimum Import Price (MIP) requirements will not apply to imports made by Advance Authorisation holders, Export Oriented Units, and units in Special Economic Zones, provided such imports are not sold into the Domestic Tariff Area. The change adjusts policy conditions for these HS codes and preserves targeted MIP exemptions for specified exportlinked or SEZ users.
