This project, managed by an organization in Ahmedabad, provides free medical services, including surgeries and post-operative care, and offers free accommodation for patients' relatives. Initially approved in 1994 and extended twice, the project is now extended for another three years starting from the 2004-2005 assessment year. The National Committee has also approved a concession of Rs. 350 lakhs towards the project's corpus fund, revising the approved project cost to Rs. 138.25 lakhs.
