<h1>Government Scheme Offers Full Insurance Premium Reimbursement to Boost Industrial Growth in India's North Eastern Region (2007-2017.</h1> The Central Comprehensive Insurance Scheme, 2007, established by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, aims to boost industrial development in India's North Eastern Region (NER) by offering a 100% insurance premium reimbursement for eligible industrial units. Effective from April 1, 2007, to March 31, 2017, the scheme applies to new and substantially expanded manufacturing units, as well as specific service sectors like hotels, medical services, and vocational training institutes. Exclusions include certain industries listed in Annexure-I. The North Eastern Development Financial Corporation (NEDFi) is responsible for disbursing subsidies, with oversight by a High-Level Monitoring Committee.
