of <h1>Government Approves IT SEZ in Telangana; Inland Container Depot Status from March 31, 2016, Under Customs Act 1962.</h1> The Central Government has approved the establishment of a Sector Specific Special Economic Zone (SEZ) for information technology and IT-enabled services by a private developer at Raidurg Panmaktha village, Ranga Reddy District, Telangana. The SEZ, covering 1.85 hectares, received approval on January 27, 2016, under the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005. An Approval Committee, comprising various government officials, has been constituted to oversee the SEZ. Additionally, the SEZ is designated as an Inland Container Depot effective March 31, 2016, under the Customs Act, 1962.
