      Summary: CBEC, under section 14(2) of the Customs Act, 1962, amends Notification No. 36/2001 Customs (N.T.) by substituting TABLE 1 and TABLE 2 to prescribe specific tariff values in US dollars per metric tonne for listed commodities (various palm oils and palmolein, crude soybean oil, brass scrap, poppy seeds) and to fix unit tariff values for gold (per ten grams) and silver (per kilogram) for goods receiving specified notification benefits.
