Aviation regulator rates 35 flight training organisations; none achieved top two tiers, 22 in lowest tier
Aviation regulator issued its first formal rankings of certified flight training organisations, finding none met the top two rating tiers. Of 35 assessed entities, 13 were placed in the mid-tier and 22 in the lowest tier; five organisations were excluded due to insufficient operational tenure or expired approval. Evaluations considered operational performance, safety, compliance and student support, with numerical score bands defining A+, A, B and C classifications. Regulator will issue improvement notices to lowest-tier organisations and will publish rankings biannually, with the next release scheduled for April 1, 2026.
