<h1>Economic offences wing files fraud, forgery and criminal breach of trust cases over alleged deceitful property sales and fake documents</h1> Crime Branch Kashmir's Economic Offences Wing registered two separate cases against two individuals for alleged deceitful property sales, cheating, forgery of revenue documents and criminal breach of trust. One complaint by a woman alleges payment of Rs 25 lakh for one kanal five marlas at Balhama with no possession and dishonoured repayment cheques; a second complaint alleges two accused sold one kanal 10 marlas at Balhama/Patha Chowk for Rs 73 lakh via a registered sale deed then re-sold the land, allegedly fabricating records with collusion of revenue officials. Both accused have prior arrests for similar offences; investigations into third-party official involvement are ongoing.
