        <h1>Pipeline tariff reform: CNG and piped domestic gas to receive the lowest zonal tariff nationwide to boost uptake.</h1> PNGRB proposes to revise zonal apportionment of the levelised unified tariff by reducing zone segmentation and charging the first zone at 66.17 per cent of the unified tariff while charging users in other zone(s) at the full unified rate; critically, CNG and PNG Domestic customers would receive the zone one (lowest) tariff nationwide regardless of distance. The draft also includes incentives for isolated networks, distribution of excess volume benefits between consumers and operators, use of such benefits for infrastructure, and policy for long term procurement of system use gas.
