This highlights India's rich cultural diversity and craftsmanship. The top states with the most GIs are Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Uttar Pradesh, and Kerala. Various initiatives, such as the GI Pavilion at Aahar 2022 and India GI fair, have been organized to promote these products. The government has allocated Rs. 75 Crores over three years to support GI awareness and promotion activities.
