With a 48.56% CAGR from 2016-2020, India is set to achieve a record high in wheat exports for the current financial year. Bangladesh remains the largest importer, while new markets include Yemen, Afghanistan, Qatar, and Indonesia. Despite being a minor player in global wheat exports, India's share rose from 0.14% in 2016 to 0.54% in 2020, driven by APEDA's initiatives to expand market reach.
