The schemes, launched in December 2016, culminated in a draw at Rashtrapati Bhawan where winners were awarded prizes up to Rs. 1 crore for digital transactions under Rs. 1600. The initiative has significantly boosted digital payment adoption, with over Rs. 256 crore disbursed to participants over 100 days. The President praised the digital revolution and Aadhaar's role in enabling payments. The Prime Minister will honor the winners on April 14, 2017, during Ambedkar Jayanti celebrations.
