<h1>CCI Probes Telecom Giants for Unfair Competition u/ss 3 & 4 of Competition Act, 2002.</h1> The Competition Commission of India (CCI) is investigating allegations of unfair competition and monopoly by cellular service providers. Four cases have been registered under Sections 3 and 4 of the Competition Act, 2002. The cases involve major telecom companies, including Bharti Airtel, Idea Cellular, Vodafone, Telenor, Videocon, Aircel, and Reliance Jio. The complaints allege anti-competitive agreements and abuse of dominance. The CCI is empowered to impose penalties and issue cease and desist orders in such cases. This information was disclosed by the Minister of State for Corporate Affairs in a written response to the Lok Sabha.
