DGFT August 26, 2025 Circulars
A national trade authority notified two new Standard Input Output Norms (SIONs) A-3693 and A-3694 under Chemical and Allied Products (code A). SION A-3693 covers Minoxidil Topical Aerosol 5% (60 g CAN) permitting import of Minoxidil USP 3.06 g per unit; SION A-3694 covers Benfotiamine 1 kg permitting import of Thiamine Hydrochloride 0.922 kg per kg. The notice allows regional authorities to issue Advance Authorisations directly, eliminating routine referrals to the Norms Committee to expedite clearance and ensure uniformity.
