DGFT December 10, 2024 Circulars
The Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) launched the revamped Preferential Certificate of Origin (eCoO) 2.0 system, an upgraded platform offering new user-friendly features to streamline the certification process for exporters. Key enhancements include multi-user access under a single IEC, e-signature options, integrated dashboard, and cost sheet digitization. Preferential CoO applications can be filed through the new system from 21.12.2024, while all data will be migrated from the legacy platform. Issuing agencies must designate administrators, manage user accounts, upload stamps/signatures, and ensure accurate payment gateway mapping. Exporters can use existing DGFT credentials, and eCoO verification is enabled through the platform or QR codes. Support channels like helpline and email are available.
