      40 non-official members are nominated to the Board of Trade, superseding the earlier nomination of 29 members. The notification expands representation from trade bodies, industry, finance, law, technology, logistics, healthcare and professional institutes. It also sets out the members' terms of reference, including providing a platform for State Governments and UTs on trade policy, supporting District Export Hub activities, advising on export strategies and policy measures, reviewing sectoral export performance, identifying trade and infrastructure constraints, and suggesting measures to streamline import-export procedures and strengthen India's foreign trade competitiveness.
