Manufacturer Seeks Guidance on New Duty Drawback Scheme, Invoice Particulars, and Export Rebate Claims; Considers Brand Rate Fixation A manufacturer of alloy and stainless steel rough castings inquired about the new duty drawback scheme replacing the DEPB scheme, seeking guidance on invoice particulars, filing shipping bills, submitting duty drawback claims, required documents, simultaneous export rebate claims, and other beneficial schemes. The response advised including particulars from the drawback schedule on invoices, using entry numbers in the shipping bill, and noted that under the EDI system, claims are automatically credited if the bank account is registered with customs. It also mentioned that export rebate and duty drawback are separate and suggested brand rate fixation if the drawback amount is insufficient. (AI Summary)
