Less Charge Cum Demand Notice

Guest

First many thanks for your valuable services and I have one very simple question about 'Less Charge Cum Demand Notice', 2 days back I have received a notice from PAS Mumbai Post Office with stating that, I need to payable of sum amount, and actually I was imported Smart Watch from China in the year 2015 for the Cost 99.95 Dollar ( 5 Pieces) for this I already paid sum amount around 3500/- in year 2015, then why? again their asking me to pay again and what I have received is already broken product.

My request is kindly explain in details and my native is Hyderabad and even if I pay where I need to pay this amount.

Regards

Harish

Once again many thanks for your answers.

Customs demand notice requires payment to the postal customs office; damaged imports require complaint to the postmaster and supplier. The demanded amount under the postal customs demand notice must be paid to PAS Mumbai Post Office; if the imported smart watches were received broken, the importer should have lodged an immediate complaint with the Post Master at PAS Mumbai and sought recourse from the supplier. You need to pay the demanded amount to PAS Mumbai Post Office only. If you had received broken Smart Watches then you had to lodge a complaint immediately to the Post Master, PAS Mumbai as well as to your Chinese supplier.
