Invoicing Raw Materials to Own Company for Samples: Duty on Cost Plus 10% Under CAS-4; ITC Reversal Needed. An individual inquired about invoicing raw materials to their own company and sending them to suppliers as free samples. One respondent questioned the feasibility of invoicing oneself. Another advised that invoicing directly to the supplier with duty payment is permissible, suggesting charging duty on cost plus 10% under CAS-4, but noted that ITC reversal under VAT laws is necessary. A third response clarified that invoicing in the company's name is not possible, and that duty on samples should be based on the value of similar goods removed from the factory. (AI Summary)
