In Form 16 have salary zero but have PF contribution , can I claim this deduction in filing returns

Jayachandran Sambandam

Iam working in Indian IT company based in Dubai for last 2 years (NRI).

My salary is processed in India, I got my form 16 mentioning :

1 Gross total income 0.00 (ZERO)
2 Deductions under chapter VI-A
(a) section 80C- Employee Provident Fund 36720.00
(a) 80D(01) 3596.00
(b) 80D(04) 8092.00

I have form 16A issued from bank and other income from house property.

My question is whether I can claim deductions under chapter VI A in ITR 2A form whiling submitting my returns.

Appreciate advise.
