HOW TO RAISE TAX INVOICE TO REGISTERED DEALER

Excise valuation: apply abatement to MRP-based pack price, then levy excise and add applicable VAT or CST.
Calculate pack price by multiplying MRP per bottle by number of bottles per carton; apply the excise abatement to the pack price to derive the assessable value for excise; apply the excise duty rate to that assessable value to compute excise duty per pack; finally add the applicable VAT for local sales or CST for interstate sales. (AI Summary)

Dear Sir,

I am registered Manufacturing co. in the name of SSMP INDUSTRIES LIMITED with excise as well as DVAT. We are dealing with mango juice under chapter heading 20098910. So what is the procedure adopt to issue tax invoice if mango juice sold to Delhi and other than delhi. Suppose MRP of 500ML Mango Juice pet bottles is ₹ 35 per bottel and packing size in ctn. 24 Nos. of pet bottles each carton.

So pl feedback to me on urgent basis.

Thanks

1.

Sir,

please prepare invoice likes

₹ 35 per bottle X 24 nos = per pack price ₹ 840/-

₹ 840 X 35% =RS 294 ( ₹ 840 ( 35% abatement ) - RS 294= 546)

35% excise abatement = { per pack RS 546 Ass. value for excise purpose}

6% excise duty rate = 32.76 excise duty per pack

+ applicable DVAT .

If you are sold out side Delhi and your per Bottle rate is say example ₹ 40/- than calculation likes

Rs.40 per bottle X 24 Nos = per pack price ₹ 960/-

35% excise abatement = ( per pack ₹ 624 Ass. value for excise purpose)

6% excise duty rate = 37.44 excise duty per pack

+ Applicable VAT/ CST
