Rahul nathan

Hello Sir,

I have one doubt in service tax input, actually we have registered our service tax under office address, we are not yet intimate our factory address at the time of service tax registration.  But we have been received some service bills received under our factory address with our service registration number. In the case have we take service tax input.

Please guide me & if you have any amendment copy, Please share with me.

Query on Claiming Service Tax Input for Services Billed to Factory Address, Registration Under Office Address A participant raised a query about claiming service tax input for services billed to a factory address, while their service tax registration is under their office address. The participant sought guidance on whether they could take service tax input without having intimated the factory address during registration. Respondents advised that the tax department might object and suggested seeking clarification from the jurisdictional Commissioner. Another response indicated that if the service is used for manufacturing and qualifies as an input service, CENVAT credit might be availed. The participant clarified that their registration covers GTA, Erection, and Commission services. (AI Summary)
