All pending applications related to the case were ... Money Laundering - Seeking grant of bail - Practicing chartered accountant (CA) - assisting the co-accused to convert the tainted money into untainted money and connived in the laundering thereto - petition dismissed primarily on the ground that the petitioner has failed to meet the threshold of Section 45 of PMLA - it was held by High Court that 'The petitioner is admitted to bail on furnishing personal bond in the sum of Rs. 5 lakhs with a surety of the like amount to the satisfaction of the trial court on the terms and conditions imposed' - HELD THAT:- There are no good ground to interfere with the impugned order passed by the High Court in view of the pendency of trial. SLP dismissed. The Supreme Court, with Hon'ble Mr. Justice M.M. Sundresh and Hon'ble Mr. Justice Rajesh Bindal presiding, heard arguments from Mr. Suryaprakash V Raju, A.S.G. (NP), and others for the Petitioner, and Ms. Hetu Arora Sethi, AOR, and Mr. Yogesh Jagia, Adv., for the Respondent. The Court found no reason to overturn the High Court's order due to the ongoing trial and thus dismissed the Special Leave Petition. Any pending applications are also resolved.
