        <h1>Special Leave Petition Dismissed as Infructuous Due to Prior Customs Order</h1> The SC dismissed the special leave petition as it was rendered infructuous due to a prior order by customs authorities. - TMI Provisional release of goods - Jurisdiction - Held that:- In view of the admitted position that pursuant to the impugned order, the customs authorities have already passed an order, this special leave petition has become infructuous - The special leave petition is accordingly dismissed as having become infructuous. The Supreme Court of India dismissed the special leave petition as it had become infructuous since customs authorities had already passed an order. (2018 (7) TMI 1650 - SC)
