Depositary notification obligations require transmission of treaty signatures, ratifications, reservations and related communications to all Parties and member States.

Article 32 designates the Depositary to notify member States and Parties of treaty acts including signatures, deposits of instruments of ratification, dates of entry into force, declarations and withdrawals, reservations and their withdrawals, and other related communications; a Depositary receiving a communication must immediately inform the other Depositary. The Article also requires authenticated copies and certified transmission of the Convention to Parties and States entitled to become Parties.
