Restrictions on striking-off applications: filings after disqualifying events attract penalty and must be withdrawn or rejected.

Applications for removal of a company's name are prohibited if, within the preceding three months, the company changed its name or shifted its registered office between States, disposed for value assets or rights formerly used in business for gain, engaged in activities beyond those necessary to wind up or decide on the application, has a pending compromise or arrangement application to the Tribunal, or is undergoing winding up or insolvency proceedings; violations attract a penalty and such applications must be withdrawn or rejected when the conditions are brought to the Registrar's notice.
