Contracting out of wage or bonus rights under the Code is void to the extent it reduces any person's payment liability.

Section 60 invalidates any contract or agreement whereby an employee relinquishes the right to any amount or bonus due under the Code to the extent it removes or reduces any person's liability to pay such amount, thereby preserving statutory wage and bonus entitlements against private agreements.
