        <h1>GST tariff omission removes Schedule one treatment for manganese ores and concentrates after rate amendment.</h1> Tariff item 2602 was omitted from Schedule 1 of the Goods and Services Tax by Notification No. 8/2021 effective 1 October 2021; previously the entry covered manganese ores and concentrates, including ferruginous manganese ores and concentrates with a manganese content of twenty percent or more by dry weight, and was classified under Schedule 1 attracting the specified GST rate.
