of <h1>Government Approves 40.47 Hectare Biotechnology SEZ in Andhra Pradesh Under Special Economic Zones Act, 2005</h1> The Andhra Pradesh Industrial Infrastructure Corporation Limited has proposed the establishment of a sector-specific Special Economic Zone (SEZ) for Biotechnology at Survey Number 321/Part, Karkapatla village, Mulugu Mandal, Medak District, Andhra Pradesh, under the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005. The Central Government, having verified compliance with the necessary requirements, issued a letter of approval on October 26, 2006, for the development, operation, and maintenance of this SEZ. Consequently, the government officially notifies the designation of 40.47 hectares of land at the specified location as a Special Economic Zone.
