of <h1>Central Government Forms Approval Committee for IT SEZ in Raigad, Maharashtra u/s 13 of SEZ Act 2005.</h1> The Central Government has established an Approval Committee for a sector-specific Special Economic Zone (SEZ) dedicated to information technology and IT-enabled services at Village Ulwe, Taluka Panvel, District Raigad, Maharashtra. This committee, formed under Section 13 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005, includes the Development Commissioner of the SEZ as Chairperson, along with members from various government departments, including the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Foreign Trade, Customs, Income Tax, Finance, and Maharashtra's state government. A representative from the Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation is also a special invitee.
