of <h1>India Notifies New SEZ for Pharmaceuticals in Aurangabad by Wockhardt Infrastructure Under SEZ Act, 2005</h1> The Government of India has officially notified a Special Economic Zone (SEZ) at Plot No E-1, Shendre Five Star Industrial Area, Aurangabad District, Maharashtra. This SEZ is specifically for pharmaceuticals, proposed by a private organization, M/s. Wockhardt Infrastructure Development Limited, under the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005. The Central Government, having satisfied the requirements of the Act, granted approval on November 3, 2006. The notified area covers various parts of the Kumbhepal village, totaling 107.06 hectares. This notification was published in the Gazette of India on April 17, 2007.
