of <h1>Customs Commissioner Appointed as Adjudicating Authority for Show Cause Notice Under Customs Act, 1962</h1> The Government of India, through the Ministry of Finance, has appointed the Commissioner of Customs at Inland Container Depot, Tughlakabad, New Delhi, as the common adjudicating authority. This appointment is made under the Customs Act, 1962, to handle matters related to a Show Cause Notice issued to M/s Dollar Poly Pipes (India) Limited and M/s Shivalik Plastichem (India) Limited, among others. The notice was originally issued by the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence, Ludhiana Regional Unit, regarding customs issues. This notification is formalized in Notification No. 58/2007-Customs (N.T.) dated 5th June 2007.
