<h1>New Exchange Rates for Foreign Currencies in Export Goods Set by India's 2007 Customs Notification /2007-NT</h1> The Government of India, through the Ministry of Finance's Central Board of Excise & Customs, issued Notification No. 53/2007-NT-Customs dated May 28, 2007. This notification, effective June 1, 2007, supersedes the previous notification No. 33/2007-NT-Customs. It establishes the exchange rates for converting specified foreign currencies into Indian rupees for export goods. Schedule I lists exchange rates for individual foreign currency units, including the US Dollar at 40.40 INR and the Euro at 54.10 INR. Schedule II specifies the rate for 100 units of the Japanese Yen at 32.85 INR.
