This appointment allows the Commissioner to exercise the powers and duties of the Commissioner of Customs, Port Import, Chennai. The adjudication pertains to a Show Cause Notice issued to M/s. Shri Balaji Rollings Pvt. Limited and others, as per the directive from the Additional Director General, Directorate of Revenue Intelligence, Mumbai Zonal Unit. This action is authorized under the Customs Act, 1962.
