of <h1>New ITC(HS) Amendment Allows Maize Exports via State Trading Enterprises for Six Months, Excluding Transitional Arrangements.</h1> The Central Government has amended Schedule-2 of the ITC(HS) classifications for export and import items related to maize (corn) under the Foreign Trade Policy 2004-2009. Effective immediately, new entries for maize (corn) with HS Code 10051000 (seed) and 10059000 (other) are included, allowing export through designated State Trading Enterprises: STC, MMTC, PEC Ltd, and NAFED. This amendment is valid for six months from the issuance date and excludes transitional arrangements under Para 1.5 of the Foreign Trade Policy. This notification is issued in the public interest by the Director General of Foreign Trade.
